Chronicle Communications Announces Chairman and Board Member
Exercise Options

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Chronicle Communications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CRNC - news) announced today that John V. Whitman Jr., its
Chairman, and board member Jackson L. Morris have exercised common stock purchase options for the purchase of an aggregate of 728,878 shares at the close of

After the exercise of the options and recent sales of common stock, Chronicle has 6,267,442 shares issued and outstanding, compared to 2,727,790 shares issued
and outstanding at fiscal year end of September 30, 1998.

In a recent press release Chronicle announced it is launching a magazine called Market Maker Plus. This dynamic new publication will profile emerging growth,
publicly traded companies. Market Maker Plus will be distributed free to every retail brokerage office in the United States and to top producing individual brokers
nationally. Larger NASD firms will receive multiple free copies. Market Maker Plus will also be available to the general public via the Internet and on newsstands.
The new magazine will be published six times per year. Individual subscriptions may be obtained for $39.00 per year US and $69.00 per year foreign. Market
Maker Plus is being designed and printed at Chronicle's United Printing and Publishing subsidiary located in Tampa, Florida.

I am still here and still holding Cowboy.

CRNC has their own IN HOUSE IR DEPARTMENT now. I am being told they are keeping a tight rein on where shares are going these days.

I haven't had time to talk to the new kid on the block.

Did you take advantage of the dip the other day? I did.

I am sitting now on nearly 75K and hoping it dips again before the big news hits.
