Edig does not have to be working directly with IBM. There is no doubt that Edig is working with Lucent. The S.D. pilot study by IBM will include many technologies provided by a number of contributors. It is often both premature, unnecessary, and often improper for any company to supply its shareholders with the specific answer to every conceivable question or outcome. E-comm. music is but one form of internet commerce, which though present since the early 1990's, is still in its infancy. I view today's Internet commerce as comparable to what it was like to have a credit card in the early 1950's. What was then unique and seemingly cumbersome for cardholders is now more commonplace than cash.
