Glenn--This sell off is a little different than in the past.> Think of all the people who lost money in the last few weeks on the nets -- starting with AMZN. Every day there are more who 'buy the dip' and then lose money. When people make money easily, they say to themselves 'hey, I am a really smart guy, I can't lose'. When people lose money, they are more likely to say 'damn stock'. Week after week, as AMZN falls apart and takes more money from people, the talk around the kitchen table will be, 'that damn stock' -- as in, "if you buy any more of that damn stock, dear, you are going to be singing in the choir." That is why the volume sucks -- and it will only pick up on the downside as investors who are underwater throw in the towel because they know they are never going to see that money again.
