Well now thats the first good reason I've seen posted on this thread to sell my CPQ <g>.

I would guess these are machines they were gonna write off anyway. There was no mention I could find that these were actually "new" machines. Maybe some old 486 and Pentium stuff off the desks of employees souped up with a 33.6 modem <g>. Plenty of that stuff still around, even at CPQ.
