LGTO has been hit be fears of increasing competition in storage, particularly from VRTS, and rumors that there are problems in the salesforce. As far as I can determine, the rumors are simply that and probably started by the competition--wouldn't be the first time!

As for the growing competitiveness of the market, it's still miles away from maturation. Corporate data usage as a competitive tool is exploding. Now layer on the effect of the Internet.

Meanwhile, the company is distinguishing its storage area network (SAN) strategy from that of the storage hardware vendors by aiming for providing solutions for heterogeneous hardware environments. LGTO's SAN strategy frees the storage software from the hardware, enabling centralization and better performance. Think in terms of a target price of $60 over the next 12 months.
