On the other hand, cnbc has someone on right now touting DELL as a GREAT GROWTH company and great stock to buy NOW...luckily with a company as high quality as DELL, the media HELPs, on the balance...but i agree that you can NEVER react to cnbc's news...i learned that a long time ago when i did and got burned because the info reported was inaccurate.

Now that RALPHIE has had his chance to load up cheap, the market can go back to the rally we saw earlier this morning...soon they will be hyping DOW 10K again, and Abby will be interviewed...it's a joke! Cheers, GR

I have a totally serious question, Michael. Are these people being referred to as Analysts?

My reason for asking is I looked up the definition in an "intro" investment book I have. It reads "a person who has been trained to investigate ALL OF THE FACTS concerning a stock, bond, mutual fund, future or option. An analyst often gives OPINIONS and ADVICE to HELP a potential investor decide what to do."

I'm most intrigued with ALL OF THE FACTS and HELP in the definition and how it applies to some of the experts being paraded in front of the masses.
