Motorola and Cisco are also forming a joint wireless internet venture, planning to spend $1 billion over the next few years. This venture probably will not use MSFT products. MOT has a CTXS license. Also Nextel and Netscape are getting together to develop a wireless browser. Recently the big 3 in cell phones announced that they are getting together with Psion to develop non microsoft operating system software. All of this points to a great reluctance for these companies to being dependent on Microsoft. MSFT is being shut out, so it's developing it's own partnership. IMHO, this is one battle MSFT is going to lose. BTW, nothing against MSFT, I am a shareholder
