Let's face it Larry, ABTX has screwed up. Period. They can blame shorts, chats, message boards, misinformation, Bloomberg, or whatever or whomever they want. They were in a situation where they got greedy in the short term. They made the mistake of putting out stock targets for a buy out/in. That was VERY foolish. I know it, you know it, the shorts know it. Instead of taking advantage of a terrific run up in the stock's price, by issuing more shares when the stock was in the high 20s, they started looking at pie-in-the-sky short term possibilities. They saw other companies in the industry getting purchased for high valuations and they thought, hey, that will happen to us. The way I see it, there are 3 options for anyone who owns or is interested in owning ABTX: A. Wait for a couple of years until this current mess gets straightened out and forgotten. B. Buy more stock at the current or lower levels. C. Sell now and chalk up a valuable lesson. I have some stock that will end up in category A. because I believe that there is potential for ABTX. Each must make their own decisions. One last note, I don't see any reason to be angry with the shorts and I sense a lot of hostility on this board. Those of us who are long should continue to defend our positions with dignity and reason. JMO, FWIW, BWDIK..... my best to all, Michael
