New Manganese polymer research Following link is to article relating research performed at St. Andrews in the UK, on solid lithium-polymer manganese batteries. Interesting that they found doping with trace amounts of cobalt enhanced the performance to 210 watt-hours/kg. Note that our current product spec sheets indicated about 140 for the cellphone cells, and 121 for the laptop cells. eet.com BTW the link came through Dennis Roth on the yahoo thread.
