It would be nice if this works its way to the retail customer:

Philadelphia Stock Exchange expects to cut fees...for options transactions before the end of the quarter.
...The announcement follows a similar move by the American Stock Exchange, which said it would cut fees for options trading by more than 50 percent.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the largest options mart, also was considering fee cuts.
