"More than half of the K6-2 processors now shipping are from the more expensive 350-MHz or faster categories."
news.com

"Even though AMD recently reported a manufacturing glitch that affected
the clock speed of its K6-2 microprocessors, OEMs now say they are getting
an adequate supply of the chips."
techweb.com

It is very significant to draw conclusion from the above two sources that they are explicitly confirming the "fix" is working and producing the higher grade speeds. No Production Problem for K6-2s!

Had the "fix" failed, AMD could be an easy toast, it all takes Intel to lower the price of lower grades Celeron to Kill AMD completely.
