Entire Sector was way down today. AMTD-15, SWS-2 1/8, JBOH-3 9/16, NITE-2, SIEB-7, SCH-9/16 DLJ-9/16. If the other online brokers were up today I would be concerned.

ETrade indeed had some bad news recently. Also, the whole Internut sector has been taking a hit recently. However, I believe that there will be more good news coming out of ETrade with respect to account acquisition, trading volume etc. Also, from a technical point of view it is not yet time to turn bearish on EGRP. The stock is currently at the top of the pre-split levels. The uptrend line starting 12/18/98 has not yet been broken and the recent decline has been on declining volume.
