Hi Herm & thread! I also got in S at 40+, and wrote Mar 45 CCs for 2.25. Only .0563 if not called. If called - Good hit! My thinking - .05 every two months = 30% annual, plus dividends, plus growth (?). Just couldn't pull the trigger on the leaps, altho I will monitor the "what might have been".
Congrats on two full years! Almost 10,000 messages - Wow! Have learned so much here. Thanks a bunch! -Dick

Herm,

Been following this page on and off for the past 6 months. Am reading McMillan's bible, but still have plenty of questions. Have been looking at the oil industry for over a year, watching it go down, down, down (no pun intended). Finally bought in with FLC around 7.25, and am not sure which covered calls are in order. I like the 1-7/8 return that the May 12.5 brings. Then again, the Feb 12.5 has a buy of around 1/2. I don't want to get called out, and would like to make plays on this for the rest of the year, if that's possible. Right now, I'bought 1000 shares, and am looking at buying more, since I think it's a great options play right now.

Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike
