Have someone noticed how nicely worded is S3' news release. The title says that they won contract from top five PC OEM and then: we won a contract from ONE of top file. These guys a really desperate to hike up their stock...

I'm confused.

"6 months in advance"

I thought it said the contract calls for S3 to ship the microchips to the manufacturer in the first half of 1999.

We are already in the first half of 1999 aren't we?

Hi Mark,

You said: "I really feel for people who lose money when invested in stock, but don't care about those who lose when shorting.JMO"

IMHO, I enjoy watching shorts get their comeuppance. The classic, AFAIK, was the NPRR short squeeze in 1901. Can anyone top that one?

Regards, Ray
