Here are some numbers I gathered by researching JP Morgan and ML reports.

Total prescriptions through 2/5/99 was 139,000.
On 2/5/99 alone 16,900 scripts written.
First week 5000.
Second week 1/29/99 was 45,800
That means they had 88,200 prescriptions during week of 2/5/99. That is astounding. This is second only to Viagra in history of all drug launches. Remember they have not officially launched any marketing. They will in 3rd week of Feb. From what I hear the patient feedback is excellant. It works great with no side effects..

Next week will be interesting for MTC.

I think the arbs are shorting MTC, DLP's price has stabilzed....I think the specialist has been holding DLP down because of the sudden jump in MTC. Why should they let the stock go if there is no demand. The thing that makes me laugh is that the merger is on course, but because of the AHP collapse, people are not willing to buy DLP stock(the risk reward isn't there). I am long both, I can't see selling DLP at 33, if the merger goes through, I get 39 and change. Meanwhile I sell calls, the 35's usually and collect nice monthly premiums. If anyone reading these boards can stop DLP from closing above $35.00 on Feb 20th, it would be much appreciated.

Regards to all,

Rob
