You're not paying attention. Craig even highlighted the contradiction. I'll post it again - that is indeed how it came across the wire initially.

17:05 [MMM] 3COM OKS 12 MLN SHARE BUYBACK PLAN.

In case you didn't know, MMM is 3M Corporation, not 3Com Corporation.

I've been accumulating 3com these past two months and will certainly be richly rewarded...my break even point is well within upper 20's!
Harold:
Could you teach me how to accumulate COMS for the past two months, trading 35~48 in last two months, and you can break even at upper 20's?

No tradings please, since you are long-term investor. By my calculation, 10 posts a day X 365 X 2 = 7,300 posts ( the # of your posts on COMS for at least the next 2 years)
regards
Lin

BTW, I've finished my homework and brushed my teeth.

Looks like another silly oversight by Harold .... MMM doesn't equal 3Com buddy.

So Harold has a break even point in the upper 20s, but has been acummulating like crazy over the past few weeks (according to his countless posts). He must have a bunch at around $15/share. Last time COMS was below $20 (accounting for splits) was 1994. Somehow I doubt Harry's been in that long. Very believable. What a BS artist.

Does any 3Com long remember when COMS was at $80 in late '96?

Harold's been a SI member since late 1998. Think he's been long COMS since 1994? Given he can't prove any historical knowledge of the company before the USRX acquisition, I doubt it. Liar.

Harold:
It looks that you finally break even now. Buy more?
