How about this for a theory? As I posted earlier, Mary Meeker, an influential internet analyst, made a call which was interpreted by many as "sell the net" and shortly thereafter, Ralph Acampora and McCabe from Merrill Lynch made their bearish pronouncements. The DOT index was under pressure all day. I watched the Level 2 trading, and for a 5-10 minute period, every bid was hit. I attributed that to traders getting out of the way of MM and RA, possibly exacerbated by the fact that there was no announcement of an IPO prior to the market opening. I don't have the history in this stock that most of you do and I pared most of my position back on that last run to 18 3/4 or so. I will note, for the record, that today's dropback was on low volume. I wouldn't have any way of knowing where this thing will open tomorrow, but I think these claims of 12, etc. are a bit over the top. BWDIK.
