Any thoughts on CNET leading up to earnings (Feb 10 after market)? It's been extremely volatile, but has shown some strength the past couple of days after sharp dips that appear to be coming on modest volume. TIA.

tomorrow: SONE,JCOR,MVSN,SE,XLSW
Still bullish: PPOD,NM,BTGI,SYKE,ECILF,NTAP. CATP,SDLI and AVID did very well both before and after earnings. If you want to 'examine' an earnings play just look at the chart of CATP.. from upgrade to earnings etc..

From an article in today's Investor's Business Daily on JCOR..
on Thursday the operator of radio stations located across the U.S. launced KSDO.com Radio, which is says is the first station that allows listeners to fully interact with talk-show hosts both live and on-line. Jacor's net profits in 1998 is forecast to improve 25% to 10 cents a share, according to First Call, Annual cash flow per share has risen every year snce 1993 and was $1.61 in 1997, up 156% from a year earlier. [ed.comment JCOR has been an earnings play since appearing on the newsletter about 10 days ago, and its nice to see it makez a 3 paragraph article in their NASDAQ stocks in the news sector, after we had it as an earnings play]
