Marcus Cable is big news.
Ya'll must have used private mail to exchange that information and have taken it for granted. SFA should send out a correction since it
was INCORRECT.

Corkey now delivers press releases via the Yahoo Message Board.
An insider called Corkeysgirl hit it right; even though others took
shots at her. Real Class Act.

The only way I see him changing his public relations staff if for
the large shareholders to threaten him. Perhaps putting their own
members on the board of directors. This has got to stop NOW !!!

I just finished listening to the CC call. The call was long term positive (of course) despite its 'matter of fact' presentation and responses. There is nothing wrong with that...but the obvious was not exactly thrown into our laps. Given the big run the stock has made since the last CC I'm sure a lot of people are wondering 'where exactly is the beef' sort of speak. I liked the call after the second listening. The first time I felt somewhat 'miffed' to use your phrase. I believe the future is very promising despite my feeling that there will be a bit of a wait for 'the good stuff'. But....that's ok with me. I've stated many times in the past..... a few anyway....that this was a long term hold for me. So i feel pretty good about how far the company has come in three years.

Product revenue was up 34%. Gross margins were still at the 51% level. Don't forget that 2 1/2 million was spent on VOD R+D this quarter....or 4cents. Even though investors do not get to see this in quarterly profit numbers it is still there and will pay off big in the future. Mr. Seigel was up beat concerning R/T saying that Q3 "looks strong". He said that Q3 looks better than Q2 because of "unusual" early quarter orders.

The VOD arena is just heating up ...... not a stampede at the moment however. Nothing wrong with that either. Mr. Seigel said Q4 and Q1 of next year holds the possibility of "significant revenues" in the Corporate Intranet market.

He reiterated what he has talked about in previous CC's that the worldwide residential marketplace is 10 billion with domestic being in the range of 1 1/2-2 billion over the next five years. The potential is there for sure and Concurrent will get its share.

The Q&A session was shorter than normal but analysts from Paine Webber....Paul Kagen and Associates....and Raymond James were there. We also heard from Jeff Putterman.

All in all I'm still very positive despite being admittedly anxious concerning the 'big' VOD rollout. It's coming. I believe some of the traders will once again hit the exits which will cause the stock to establish a new trading range while the future continues to 'work itself out'. I would not be surprised to see the stock trade between 4 and 7 during the next quarter. Good luck to everyone.
