Painful day today. I wonder how low it will go?

Chris,

Thanks again. I do not get the time to give a timely answer to posts on this site but do regularly get back. As to holding for the long term I have kept a core holding on VTSS for the long term and have added and subtracted to that in response to the market. Wish I could say that I've done a lot better than buy-and-hold but right now it is just a bit better. Example, took some out at $48 and bought it back yesterday at $44. Now the question is where is the bottom?

Overall, however, my rationale for buying in and out with some shares comes about from my belief that over the next three years, at least, VTSS will come back. Cheers.
