Check out FILM: I don't believe the UTTC on quotes is same as United Textiles and Toys Corp. 10Q merely refers to United Textiles as UTTC for convenience. Actually, I believe the company that has invested heavily in Play Co Toys is a Nasdaq company with the symbol FILM.

As I understand it, it is a family run holding company that owns portions of several companies. The investments made into Play Co Toys are substantial and the leadership they have given the Play Co is what, in my opinion, has turned the company around.

The primary difference between this stock and the ones to which you refer, is that with Play Co, you could visit one of their 25 stores and talk to their 300+ employees and visit their 30,000 sq foot warehouse operation, and see their multi-million dollar inventory with your own eyes.

I very much appreciate the concern over the reference you quoted. If I had gone thru that, I would want to fly to the headquarters of every company I invested in.
