Hi Patriarch, Jeez, you must be older than the hills. I'm gettin up there myself. I got a dumb question. Why in the world would a consumer (you remember them, they're the ones watching Oprah now) want "such far-out devices as the interactive toaster"? I truly am clueless as to the advantage of this advance. Please advise. This kinda reminds me of the computer experts who told the managers of the B777 development project that they could provide a printout on cabin light bulbs that had burned out and needed maintenence. A more senior, and shall we say seasoned, project engineer suggested it might be possible to walk thru the cabin and spot the burned out bulbs. What a concept. Best, Ray
