I agree that it is VERY desirable to have cash at the ready. Especially when your account is the "R" word. I am just starting to get to a point where I can keep some money on hand most of the time. That may change tomorrow. I want to load some more stocks which haven't moved much since picked but I didn't have enough cash in order to really fill out my desired amount on. Did you follow that? I did, I think. Anyway, I can't count on all my digits the number of times where I saw a hot stock I wanted to move on, but just didn't have any cash to do it. Just my 2 cents. jimS
