Where do you get this ridiculous price of $22 for Dell? A year from now, after the crap has hit the fan, they earn $.50 with a 20 PE - that's $10 <gg>.

Dell is NOT continuing to gain market share. They lost market share LAST QUARTER.

You know I've seen this posted here, without any backup data. Please enlighten me with some.

Compaq had a flat quarter after three losses, due to scamming receivables (which Dell also did) and stuffing the channel and being very liberal on service revenues. They can't keep that up without risking jail time.

Well, Mason continues to be comfortable with the coming quarter. I hope he doesn't end up in jail. <g>.

Dell is having a horrible quarter.

This we will know soon enough. And MD has only hyped in the past in response to uninformed analysts who erred in their ways. With the stock up, there's no need to hype, my friend. More importantly, there was no warning. And good numbers from CPQ and GTW should lead to a good DELL number. DELL disappoint? Not a chance. <g>
