IATV doesn't need those three. It is enhanced by the big pipe, but the future for IATV is not bound to the delivery medium. The whole bag there is whether the public will become enamored by this new toy. It is perfectly unpredictable. If it had come out 10 or 20 years ago, it would have really flied. Now, I don't know.

Maybe the education angle is really the best part of the company since the FCC has required some educational kowtowing to be a broadband services provider. And maybe the handheld has a value in education greater than its value in entertainment. I know that's heresy, but that's what I think. Once the entertainment thing has petered out, maybe the company will concentrate on other applications. By that time ubiquitous quality cable modem should enable them to discover truly added value applications instead of toys only.

You have to watch out for something that seems too good to be true. It sounds like such a winner, but in spite of all the eclat, it sure is taking a long time to taxi. From long experience that isn't a good sign for get-rich-quick great expectations. If it was all that good, Liberty and TCI would have it in my hand by now. When there are lots of excuses why not, you know there are insurmountable problems in the product's current incarnation.
