Dave,

If they honor the price, I'll buy most if not all the rest of my components from them even if they're a little more expensive. If they don't, I'll be left with a sour taste in my mouth (no calls for a lawsuit or a boycott over a mistake, just disappointment).

Michael

OT - 19" monitor

After reading their legalese, I come away with the solid conclusion that they are not legally obligated to ship -ANY- of the monitors they sold.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. BUY.COM reserves the right, at any time after receipt of your order and without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

They have explicitly reserved for themselves the right to "supply less than the quantity you ordered." In this case, it would be prudent for them to supply -0- monitors to everyone. :)

Still, it's a PR issue. I think the at-cost solution is a good compromise, but it's senseless to expect the company to take a bath over an honest mistake.

P.S. I still hope my friends and I get the low price for the 6 we ordered. <BFG>
