Hmm. Morgan Stanley's Mary Meeker was quoted today as saying that a 25% correction in the net stocks would be "healthy."

And yet, she still rates all the net stocks she covers with a "strong buy" rating.

So, let me get this straight. She is saying it would be "healthy" if anyone who listened to her stock picking advice lost 25% of their investment?

Sound confusing? Nah. Just remember that sell-side analysts never issue a public sell recommendation on anything- including boston chicken which remained a strong buy until the day it went bankrupt.

They are not allowed to issue public sell ratings because they would never get future secondary or IPO business. I wonder if Mary sleeps well at night?
