Several people on this thread (Karlson sp. ?, KIS, GST, Rob S. and others) have said the negative case many many times.
I have a large short position. My expectation for tomorrow is either a large down day or at worst holding steady at approx 110.

Since Jan 8 everyone who took this stock home for the evening is in a negative position. There was a period of 1 hour when the stock dipped to 95 and whoever bought during that hour is OK for now. However, the entire float has turned over several times since then.

People (mostly) don't buy this stock for its business earning potential. They buy it to make a quick buck. I don't think there are many serious intentional long term holders for AMZN.

As GST is fond of saying, the trend is down (I hope!).
