Harry-
I haven't imported into ProTA via DialData yet, but it hasn't flagged problems during file imports. You have to audit the files I think. But when you select the split item from the menu ProTA determines the data by looking at the data rather than defaulting to today's date. I recently selected the Split item for WIND and didn't watch which date was selected and it selected the wrong one, so I had to back it out. I don't think ProTA makes backup files for splits like Hotline does.

I emailed BeeSoft about a bug yesterday a.m. and got a response that it was fixed in the next release, 1.02, which should be out soon. But my weekly and monthly indicators must wait until later, alas!

ProTA allows you to set up portfolios which you can view by any number of indicators. You can also sort by these indicators, so I could sort a list by %change from 6 months ago and then scan that list for %change in the top quartile to view strong relative strength stocks.

Did you try to increase the available memory to Hotline? No help, huh?
