Philip, I'm a juice drinker myself, unaware of chemical sweeteners in various drinks; sorry I can't help with better information. My own rash predictions for DELL, viewed not from the porch but thru the olive, pimento removed:

We have 5 more trading days till MD announces earnings.

There will be no sell off before then, I don't think it will even dip.
MD will announce a split
It will occur in the first 2 weeks of March
Dell will hit 135 pre-split, in March, then sell off

Call option holders for later months will profit as the premiums on split calls are always higher, added together, than the premium on the call that was split.

EXAMPLE: If the August 140 is selling for 20 pre-split, the 2 Aug 70s will be 12-13. Leaps will appreciate even more from this effect.

Rather than selling shares right before the split, consider selling short term out-of-the-money calls, such as the April 140-150s

If one is nervous about a drop and holds February calls, don't sell them, slide into a spread by selling higher strike Feb calls.

FWIW, Philip, happy investing!
