*****Michael OT*****.

I would and do not wish to equate her losses with the losses of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Nor is the irony lost on me that Sushi is indeed a metaphor for the most spoiled self-centered generation (Baby Boomers) who have yet to "grace" America with its presence.

It may also be that others in her position refused to do what they were ordered and paid a far greater price as well. We will of course, never know.

You read too much into the brief remark I made.Everyone should have their fifteen minutes on the soapbox.Have you any thoughts on the First Amendment? Volumes can be written on that one.

Lets get back to IOM.This timeout isn't going to make us any money.

Regards to Tony Randall!

***OT*** Michael - While I share your lack of pity for Tokyo Rose's prosecution after the war,I think you should consider just what effect she had on the GI's who listened to her. They loved her show and looked forward to tuning in. They never bought into any of her propaganda, but were very appreciative of the music she played. I think some GI's even testified on her behalf, and the irony is that she helped keep morale high in such places as Okinawa.
