The 1998 - 200 ton sample from 2 pits took from March to the end of June to release results (3.5 months).

The 6,000 ton sample start-up will now be delayed at least 4 weeks because of bad winter conditions. Couple this with the sample size which is 30 times larger than the March, '98 sample and it should take 1 month to extract and ship the ore.

The sample results would probably not be ready until August or September, or 6 to 7 months!!

It's going to be a long hot summer of waiting for results!!!

Good Evening Taz,

What made me smell a NR today?

1. Price on a nice uptick today.

2. It's Monday and I figured that WSP would annc. "Drilling has Started" on a Monday night.....it's their style.

3. Canaccord on the sell side. Canaccord always sells heavy prior to a NR.

4. Drilling has already started on some NWT's plays (MPV, PEL).

5. I was told that one of the Conner drill crews was in camp last Thurs.

Did not know about the Fire and road delay. Mind you the volumne was very lite by WSP standards for a Monday NR.

If you Hear of anything about The Chevron/Purcell Fort Laird Nat. Gas drilling, Keep me informed!
