You still fail to see the real reason behind Chambers' jawboning efforts on acquisitions. He doesn't expect every acquisition to succeed.....because history has shown that they haven't. Still he has said that LU/ASND represent a significant competitor. If he said anything to signal that this wasn't the case I'd be worried...but he hasn't. As for SP's. It is the same continuous thing I see....by you more than anyone else and that is all SP's business is ASND's...well now LU/ASND's. But of the SP's you posted most (if not all of them) will be spending not only on LU/ASND equipment but other companies equipment as well...yes...including CSCO. If you believe the analysts all the time then you must buy when they say buy and sell when they say sell. If so, you're one of few that is in the red... <vbg> Because you know as well as I that they are notoriously bad at predicting anything. You and I together could start an analyst firm and beat the pants off any of these guys. They have no idea what deals might be on the horizon or how LU, ASND, NT, ALA, CSCO, MOT, MSFT, SUNW, or anyone else for that matter might change the landscape going forward. If you want to spend you time getting your panties all bunched up over CISCO that's your perrogative, I'll say nothing more....other than it is irritating to those of us that are holders of more than one networking company....;) OG
