THREAD--- Lucent Technologies Joins CSC's Pennant Alliance Team to Pursue San Diego County Outsourcing Contract February 08, 1999 4:10 PM SAN DIEGO, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Lucent Technologies will join CSC's "Pennant Alliance" team that is pursuing the county of San Diego's proposed information technology (I/T) outsourcing contract. The Pennant Alliance, which also includes San Diego-based Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Pacific Bell, encompasses more than 200,000 I/T and telecommunications employees among the four companies. More than 12,000 of these professionals currently work in San Diego County.
