Limtex,
"this is the music business and it is driven by kids. Yes these smelly rude noisy little creeps have finally become useful and are about to benefit the world and SNDK"

You are right on. I couldn't help but think the same thing a couple of weeks ago in Fry's looking at a huge stack of RIO players on an isle end display.

Limtex, Thread, others...

Best Buy announced this week a deal with Kodak. You get the Kodak DC210 plus with a free 15 MB SanDisk CF card. The total package sells for $449.99 which is not a bad deal at all. Guess that they are trying to clear out Christmas left overs and lower capacity CF cards for the time being.

The same sales flyer shows a Lexmark 5770 color printer with a hand inserting a SanDisk CF card into a separate port for direct printing. It eliminates the need for a PC interface.

Nice to see some free SanDisk publicity.

Thread,

I have been checking out an electronics site day-to-day and they seem to be selling quite a few of the 48 MB CF cards. The site URL is listed below and the price of the item has come down substantially since Christmas to $130 or just about $2.50 per MB. Not bad given the storage capacity. It would probably be about the only card you might need if you were getting started in digital photography.

I feel stupid because I paid the same amount for a 15 MB SanDisk card a year ago.
