jbIII, I was referring to the car audio system. I don't think it will have an effect on SNDK. I also am somewhat tired of posts referring to penny stocks here on the SNDK thread, unless there is a clear explanation of the relevance. IMHO, I thought Walter's post was wanting for content and opinion. (sorry, Walter.) Regarding the music consortium you posted earlier, high speed cable modems and DSL lines will help accelerate the mp3 market (or whatever standard is adopted) and will boost SNDK sales. Regardless of the standard adopted there will be a need for portable solid state memory. The music industry is trying to save its shirt after reaching into everyone's pockets all these years with outrageous CD prices. Personally, I would be happy downloading selected songs from selected albums and paying a 0.99 cent royalty/download rather than buying a $16.00 CD with only one or two songs I like. I would also download a music video and the liner notes if I am interested in the group. Hopefully this will open up a market for new (struggling) artists looking for a break in the music business. It gives them the opportunity to publish on the internet and increase exposure that way rather than forcing them to sign on with a record label right from the start. Fasten your seatbelt. Ausdauer
