Hi Keith, Not only do I like the guy's writing style, I like what he has to say. I'm not clever enough to figure out what happens when there are more index funds than there are individual stocks (!), but I guess it won't matter. Sort of a ponzi game!

I'm excited to know that the "lemmings" will be participating in the NASDAQ 100 INDEX as that will just add to the Fear/Greed thing that's already in place. UOPIX should also continue to be volatile just like we like!

I'm treating UOPIX just like it were an indivudual stock as far as AIM is concerned. I am using the full IW's cash reserve suggestion as my cash "goal." I'm also using SAFE at a full 10% so far on both the buy and sell side. I'm using 5% of the equity side as the minimum order size.

Since the IW crested into the High Risk area again recently, I'm very glad to have a fat cash reserve in place for UOPIX. AIM will do a great job of "asset allocation" as Mr. Hoenig points out. I'm amazed by his statistic that almost all of a portfolio's success can be attributed to asset allocation. I'd love to see that report! Certainly that just adds to AIM's value since it is really an asset allocation model. AIM and the IW together (to keep AIM's conservative ways under control) make a nice combo with something like a souped up index fund. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

Thanks for bringing this article up. Several others that have posted here have been begging for a simple index fund for the NASDAQ 100. Looks like their begging has paid off!

Best regards, Tom
