I'm fighting with the phone company now. They say all they are willing to guarantee is 19.2K. Ridiculous.

Weel, at least I can stay with AOL as no other provider can do it faster.

i guess everything is relative....i live in cincinnati, hooked up to aol on my 56k modem consistently at 46k and got adsl service and now whilke it is fast the internet is bogging it down on busy nights like tonight....listening to my real player while i wait for the next page makes it a little more relaxing i connect at 360k but the net is the net'''still servers can only do so much...need faster chips everwhere...maybe intel is the answer
