>>>Notice how the market never gives cheap lessons?

Makes for a good reason NOT to hold anything long, doesn't it?

My discount broker who is also my friend, would say to me ... "the good ones always come back, and a loss is only a paper loss unless you sell."

LCOS
Chartwise the support area is holding at 115

I would be surprised if traders did not jump on it on the dive at the open. Making the open the low of the day.

One of these days, will someone explain to me why all the trades on LCOS that I have seen pre-open are at 127 1/4. I am looking at Mach6 for this information. Given the bid and ask, it is hard to understand.

David

Tough luck Jay.

Those overnighters can be brutal when bad news comes out. I was long CIEN the day the special prosecutor took the report to congress last fall right after the market closed. Ate three points for breakfast. You remember those. Hope LCOS gives you a bounce and a half this morning.

Rick

In GSTRF yesterday at 19. I knew it would gap up this am. Just re-read Berstein's gap opening chapter last night. Had lots of time to get out at 19 7/8. Got greedy and held - now looking at bid of 1/16. The education process continues.
