dell builds a cushion rather quickly if it follows historical patterns, i thought it was expensive when i first bought at around $60 in 97,but with splits my adjusted cost is under twenty...it is a great stock to sell options against, due to perceived volatility and exaggerated premiums...i've been selling puts against cash for a few years, never had one go against me...love sell offs such as oct 8 1998, great to add to long positions and write puts...hopefully the future is bright! good luck
