Haim, Re: The Demise of the Tech Sector

I posted this on another thread Sunday morning after a post you made
regarding the tech stocks. I believe it offers an interesting perspective.

PRICE PRICE 38% WKLY 1/13
SYMBOL 12/31/98 2/5/99 FIB MA LOW

CSCO $92.81 $101.25 $91 $90 $90
DELL 73.19 100.44 87 77 74
IBM 184.38 166.00 170 170 180
INTC 118.56 127.56 119 119 131
LU 109.94 100.00 97 100 96
MOT 61.06 66.44 63 63 65
MSFT 138.69 160.00 144 140 136
ORCL 43.13 56.19 47 42 44
SUNW 85.63 100.63 87 86 88
WCOM 71.75 76.25 67 68 69

The 38% retracement is from the 10/8 close. I'll note that it is not
unusual for IBM to retrace 50%, which would be $161.

It is probably just an accident of math that many of these numbers
line up so well. <g> In any case, just an observation that I thought
I would share.
