Here's another "spin" on the insider thing: <Titan Pharmaceuticals (TTP: $3.94) This development stage pharmaceutical company, with product development programs in the area of cancer and central nervous system disorders, trades at under 4 times cash. One director recently purchased 120,000 shares at prices ranging from $2.86 to $3.50. For the year ending December 1999 estimates are calling for a loss of $0.62 per share. In FY 2000 estimates are calling for a loss of $0.69 per share. Particularly interesting is that at the time the two main insider buyers were picking up TTP, they were selling shares in other firms they are considered "insiders" in. This certainly relay's a sense of relative value at the very least. DAK
