Yiwu, I think I'm one of the few who realize that also, and most people I know are aghast and upset that I would say such things, but it is to a great degree, very true in my opinion. They are living in their own little "American Dream World", and do not see how truly arrogant "we" are in the eyes of MANY people around the world, some of whom have truly started to hate our guts for doing little things like bombing aspirin factories to raise the president's ratings, or causing more grief for the people of Iraq right into their holy holiday period. This is one reason why I was cheering for the Iraqi anti-aircraft gunners to shoot down some cruise missiles (not piloted aircraft), and I actually saw them do that at least once, contrary to the denial from our side that they did'nt hit anything. We lie just as good in this country as anyone else around the world does, but it's worse, because "we" pretend to be so pure and good. Now that I have upset everybody, let the attacks on me begin! (but that will not change the truth) Let some of these arrogant Americans walk in Iraqi or other foreign shoes for awhile, to see how it feels to be beaten over the head constantly by the world's superpower bully.
