Is MSU a step ahead? Won't matter if they don't get their platform architecture into the open market in a big way. That is why doing a deal with China would be so lucrative. The more hardware you have in the pipline (customers/users), the more attention programmers pay to creating additional software apps for it. This has been the challenge that MSU has faced for years. I still hope and believe they are set to make a big splash this year and find some real interest. And I hope Mr. McLaughlin feels the same and is making strides to protect his investment in the company. As for the ESS(?) announcement, I noted that this was cleverly worded with ambiguous doublespeak. There is a big difference between working a Chinese company (under the supervisory control of the Chinese gov't) to develop a netbox for the Chinese marketplace, and actually getting that platform designed, manufactured, and distributed to a solid customer base. MSU promised mass manufacturing by this April. The logistical issues included in doing this have to be substantial. Modem chips, keyboards, remote controls, and everything not built by MSU's contracted FAB have all got to be ordered from outside sources in numbers that permit mass manufacture. This requires money and time for a proper ramp-up. But this is also a hurdle, once overcome, that will provide MSU the necessary advantage against other designs. That is why I was so encouraged by people putting down some big bucks on the company (and apparently more has been provided if the rumours I've heard are true) Just my humble opinion. Now where the heck is the news of a contract????!!!!! Regards, Ron
