Yes, Fortune and the likes have picked up this realistic view of overwhelming competition that for sure will drive margins down substantially. Look back at the Semi and Disk drives mkt and can see the similarity. It is not the same as the time of arcane router mkt where csco was left alone as the mkt was not big enough to fight. Now, with the Internet booming, competitions from every corners have now zooming in for a fair share of the pie. Startups to large established companies are now competing and when that happens margins and profits suffer. CSCO will have tough times ahead and at this astronomical PE of 120 it will come down really hard. imo.

Alarming early warning sign.

CSCO showing extreme weakness, down rate double of nasdaq and very insignificant up rate. This indicates heavy selling pressure had be put on the stock during the last few days. A lot of times the follow-up is a downgrade disaster (that will take it down to the 80s) from a bunch of brokers. imo.
