David well EGRP has been very good to me. I do not have a position right now. Wish I had shorted, but I did not have the guts. Do you think E*Trade would execute a short sell on EGRP? <g> of course they would.

Long term bullish on EGRP eh? Well I do not know. These guys might face a huge inflection point if the biggies decide to offer on-line trading to attract smaller clients. I do not think they have THAT great of a competitive advantage. Certainly not that much of an edge on the technology side...
On the other hand, with their stock suffering like that, they could become a pretty interesting target for an acquisition. Plus they are de facto a huge brand, which is key in the internet environment.

I dunno. Good luck anyway, I'll keep on watching (plus I have an account with them).
