I find it hard to believe that people are being sued for stating opinions.

I agree that one should be allowed their first amendment rights. But if I were paid to intentionally bash a stock and benefit thru my stock trades then that is a deceitful maneuver and one that defintely breaks the law, but guess what it goes both ways doesn't it. What is the difference if I post positively about a stock and drive the price up and flip the stock to make a profit. That is also breaking the law as evidenced by SEC lawsuits that have been brought forth. One day we will know what is the difference from me posting on a message board, or me calling into a radio talkshow and expressing an opinion. I believe there is no difference, that we are protected by our first amendment rights. BUT, if I do so under intentionally deceivious reasons, then Katie bar the door...... This board does not belong to NPEC or Medinah, it belongs to Silicon Investor and we as posters need to protect our right to post and express an opinion, and keep deceivious posters away....IMO lol!!!

:-)
