Life's too short to dig into all that they do. Its their game. They make the rules. You just play and hope u understand the rules and also hoope they dont change the rules so fast that u dont have time to adjust.......

I have a very informative article out of Forbes dated July 29, 1996 titled 'One day soon the music's going to stop' It is an 8 page commentary on the MM practices of manipulating the Nasdac. Very interesting read. If you would like a copy let me know and I can fax same to you. Regards Colin

Steven's Dad,,,

Have wondered why over a beer two MM's/mm's are not
saying..."let's sell this block back and forth to
each other..."we'll gradually lower the ask thru
the morning on low volume...once we reach our target
and on the way, we'll accumulate shares as they shake out."

Daytrader's intraday observation on the rather odd
fact the stock was dropping even tho bids kept coming
in at the ask and even above: "What is happening"?

This is not my opinion but speculation on whether
this really happens...actually, with the "churn"
by the brokers, it seems likely.

That Forbes article is a must read...gotta go back
and check it out.
