Clark: The reason I am more concerned about the position of the US Gov't in the ITU negotiations, where Armstrong of AT&T has just thrown a large monkeywrench (spanner in NZ ?) against the US taking a strong position on convergence, is that the US is key in these negotiations. Any weakening of the US position is dangerous since need to lean on Japan in particular to get convergence. Assume hopeless re Europe. China a wildcard. In any case this is a rollercoaster ride this year. But even two CDMA related standards ain't the death of the Q - just less good. Cheers. Chaz
