Spots MD1000 What about text and/or mixed pix and text? Speed? Text quality? Plain paper? How is it for general use? I think that the Text quality is excellent, it is very clean and crisp. speed I would say is slow, it actually makes a separate pass for each color. Plain paper is all I ever use, my basic need for a printer was for spread sheets, but I have also printed pic's of babes in bikini's on plain paper and they look great. When I bought the printer I took a friend of mine to check it out, since he knew a lot more about printers than I do and has worked with and used or checked out just about everything out there, we left the store with 3 new printers :-) I have seen a lot of the pictures he has printed out on "better paper" and they look like photographs. For $200 after the rebate I don't see how you can go wrong Tim

What about text and/or mixed pix and text? Amazing Quality.... Speed?? Slow Text Quality - looks like 1200 DPI laser Plain paper output is better than inkjet or anything else I have seen on plain paper. How is it for general use? As I said in my previous note its far to expensive and slow to user for general use. Its designed for presentation quality output and at that I think it may be unsurpassed. This isn't an issue for me as I have two lasers, an inkjet, and a wide carriage fot matrix for other tasks. Sean
